Missions
Between the Seven Hour War and the events of Half-Life 2 and its sequels, remaining pockets of rebels carried out a series of attacks on Combine positions. These missions can be played as two multi-map campaigns or one at a time in round mode by setting the appropriate option in the SMOD Configuration Utility.

| Harvest Mission: Hostage Rescue Briefing: During sweeps of the wasteland by heavy combine forces, four high ranking rebels have been captured and are being held in a remote farmstead. Get them to the barn, from which we can then lead them to safety. Map author: R_Yell (A. Oliver) |

| XCom Mission: Hostage Rescue Briefing: Four rebels are being held in a Combine controlled office tower. If you can lead them to the roof or to the lobby they can be retrieved. Map author: DjBourgeoisie |

| Ancient Town Mission: Protection Briefing: A prominent rebel underground leader has been uncovered by Combine forces, who are taking steps to eliminate him and his stockpile of weapons. Protect him at all costs. Map author: Grazer (Jürgen Oswald) |

| Battleship Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: Rebel leaders have discovered an abandoned battleship floating out at sea which may be of use against the Combine. Capture it, but be aware a substantial force has been landed to prevent you from achieving your goal. Map author: Bluestrike |

| Biolab O Mission: Smash and grab Briefing: A prototype gravity gun is being stored at this top secret weapons lab. You must penetrate the facility and locate it. Be aware there will be a number of experimental weapons stored in the labs that you may be able to use against the Combine. | Blue Corridor Mission: Smash and grab Briefing: A rebel spy has infiltrated a secure Combine facility and captured a reprogrammed laser turret which can be used against the Combine. Your team must retrieve the turret at all costs. Map author: Schuzak |

| Lochs Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: Combine forces are seeking to destroy this loch system, which provides transport and water to a nearby rebel base. Your squad must retake the facility. Map author: Vig (Mark Dygert) |

| Monach Mission: Infestation zone Briefing: A remote rebel base in the wasteland has been overrun with zombies. You must retake the position, locate weapons that were left behind and look for survivors. Combine patrols are also in the area and may attempt to take the base. Map author: Raylord (Anton G. | Nightfever Mission: Assassination Briefing: A high ranking Combine collaborator has been located in an administrative centre. You are to locate and assassinate him. After you accomplish your mission, return to your insertion point and escape. Map author: Magikus & StarD00d (d00ds.com) |

| Toxin Mission: Counter Insurgency Briefing: An actively hostile group opposed to both the Combine and the rebel movement have been tracked to an old factory. You are to move in and eliminate all resistance. Map author: eXpendabLe (Scott Hilbrands) |

| Venice Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: Rebels are attempting to retake parts of the abandoned and zombie infested city of Venice as a defensible stronghold. Your team are to move in and assist. | Assault Mission: Hostage Rescue Briefing: Three rebels are being held in a warehouse. At least one must be rescued in order to secure future operations. Be cautious: if Overwatch thinks there is the possibility of rescue additional troops will be sent in to eliminate both you and hostages. Ensure your escape route is clear before taking the hostages with you. |

| Militia Mission: Hostage Rescue Briefing: Two rebels are being held in an isolated outlying area. You must rescue at least one in order for the fight to continue. Reports indicate a sizeable troop presence backed up by air support. You do not need to eliminate all opposition if you can escape with the hostages alive. |

| Office Mission: Hostage Rescue Briefing: Three rebels are being held in a local administration office. Rescue at least one before all is lost! |
||
| Aztec Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: Forward scouts in an airboat reported seeing Striders in the area before contact was lost. We are sending you in with an rpg and have air dropped extra ammunition in case this report is true. Don't waste it on secondary targets. |

| Cobble Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: Combine forces are setting up a field headquarters in an old manor house. Expect heavy resistance. |
||
| Chateau Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: The Combine have bombed this former safe house and are in the process of mopping up. Retake the position. |
||
| Dust Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: The Combine are in the midst of an antlion cleanup operation in this area. Eliminate both the Combine and the antlions. Note that if an Antlion Guard is present, it will summon antlions until killed. |

| Dust 2 Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: Eliminate all resistance. |

| Inferno Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: Capture this town from the Combine. Be cautious, the Combine may call in air support. Rebel units have left behind a very limited supply of rockets around the town, so if the situation is serious you will have to make every shot count. |

| Nuke Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: Capture this decommissioned reactor from the Combine. Expect heavy resistance. |
||
| Piranesi Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: A substantial force is holding this former tourist attraction, including stalkers and air support. We have sent an rpg with your team upriver which you will find in the boat. Reports indicate that abundant additional ammunition can be found somewhere in the castle. |
||
| Port Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: An armed prototype buggy has been captured from a rebel force and taken to this port for transportation to a Combine Citadel. Recapture the buggy and use it to fight off any reinforcements the Combine might send. Do not enter the heavily polluted water. |
||
| Prodigy Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: While retrieving weapon plans from computers in an old cold war bunker, you and your squad have been surprised by a large Combine force. Eliminate them all to escape with the plans intact! |
||
| Tides Mission: Counter Combine Briefing: This village is being rendered uninhabitable by Combine shelling. Stop them before they complete their work. |
||
| Train Mission: Sabotage Briefing: The Combine have organised two shipments of a vital Combine nutritional resource from this zombie infested train yard. Destroy both shipments then make your escape! |
